Courtney Berry received her B.S. in Chemistry and Biology from Roosevelt University in 2006. Her science background prepared her for the world of massage therapy. After graduation, she enrolled
in The Chicago School of Massage Therapy, also known today as Cortiva. Here she continued her studies in anatomy, physiology and pathology and developed her massage therapy skills. She graduated at the top of her class in April, 2008.
She is adept at Sports Massage, Chair Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Thai Massage and Swedish Massage. In addition, she is competent in Trigger Point Therapy, Thermal Therapy, Myofacial Therapy and Body Mobilization.
She has 40 hours working in the CSMT clinic, 30 hours of community outreach including Arts for Life, The Chicago Marathon and Women’s Residential Shelter.
Courtney has been working at Fiore Chiropractic since May 2008.

In Nov 2007, April Prorok Langley graduated from a 750 hour Massage Therapy Program with honors and a 3.78 GPA. She became licensed in Illinois in March 2008. Her previous employment
in a corporate environment did not satisfy her - she wanted to feel like she was serving a bigger purpose; she wanted to connect with people; she wanted to share her passion for health with others, and she wanted to help empower people to live the healthiest lives possible.
Due to her previous employment in a corporate setting she fully understands the stresses, both physically and mentally, that accompany daily life. Every day she sees people suffering from the affects of stress which manifests itself as pain, fatigue, headaches, limited movement, illness,
digestive issues, etc. All of these can interfere with a person’s overall quality of life. She can relate to other issues as well, since throughout her life, many people close to her have had to deal with issues such as: migraines, fatigue, arthritis, fibromyalgia, back pain,
neck pain, pain disorders, etc. Her profession has also provided a lot of experience with those that have been injured, were involved in an accident, as well as those that overdid it at the gym or simply slept wrong the night before.
She has always been interested in natural health and alternative medicine. She is fascinated by our body’s intelligence and ability to heal itself. Given her interest, passion, and appreciation for these things, massage therapy is the ideal profession. Massage therapy allows her to connect with others
and to share her knowledge. Massage therapy allows her the opportunity to help someone improve their life – what a wonderful gift. She is a firm believer in the many benefits of massage therapy for body, mind, and spirit.
She is extremely grateful for the opportunities and experiences that she has had in her life, good and bad. She can relate to others and offer genuine caring and concern without judgment.
